Fish Tacos

Seasonest Fish Tacos
Not your basic taco unless you're from California. For a healthier option, serve with grilled or baked fish seasoned with Seasonest Spice Blend - Mild or Original.
Ingredients

• Cod fillets
• Panko crumbs
• Flour Tortillas
• 1/8 cup Cooking oil
• 1 TBSP Seasonest Adobo Blend

Toppings
• 1 bag mixed cabbage (or coleslaw) or Iceberg lettuce (shreds or finely chopped) • 1 Diced tomato • 1/4 cup Chopped green onions (scallions) • Coleslaw dressing, Sour cream or Tartar sauce • 1 Fresh Avocado, sliced • 1 Lime, juiced • Hot sauce • Sliced Jalapeños (fresh or pickled) • Salsa (Regular or Chipotle) • 1/4 cup Fresh chopped cilantro

Directions

Season both sides of Cod fillets with Seasonest Adobo Blend and then cover both sides with panko crumbs.

Heat skillet and coat with cooking oil. Place fillets in skillet and let brown on 5-7 minutes on each side.
ALTERNATIVES: If you are not comfortable with pan frying fish, you can cheat by baking fish sticks. If you prefer healthier fish, bake in oven for 40 minutes at 375˚ instead of frying.

Heat flour tortillas in a no stick skillet for 1-2 minutes on both sides until warm.

Fill taco shell with fish first. Then, top with your favorite toppings. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and lime juice for a more authentic flavor.


Preparation time – 10 minutes
Cook time – 16 minutes
Total Cooking Time – 26 minutes
